Home Health Aide

About the Role

Help patients regain strength, maintain independence, and achieve their health goals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide hands-on personal care and support that enables patients to recover safely while preserving their dignity and quality of life.

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
• Support meal preparation and mobility
• Help with daily living activities
• Collaborate with patients, families, registered nurses, and healthcare professionals
• Support individualized care plans and monitor patient well-being

Location

Office Location: 801 Rosehill Road, Jackson, MI 49202

Main Service Area: Lansing and surrounding area

This is a high travel position requiring daily travel within the service area to provide care in homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes.

Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Weekend On-Call Rotation

Required Qualification

• Minimum 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
• 16 hours of classroom completed prior to mandatory 16 hours of practical training
• Meets Medicare Home Health Aide training program and competency standards
• Current nurse aide certification in good standing on state registry
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Home Health Aide, Hospice Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Understanding of home health philosophy
• Comfort providing specialized care to homebound patients
• Calm and empathetic approach to patient care

Pay Range

$18.50—$23 USD
