About the Role

Help patients regain strength, maintain independence, and achieve their health goals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Aide, you'll provide hands-on personal care and support that enables patients to recover safely while preserving their dignity and quality of life.

Through assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and other daily activities, you'll play an important role in helping patients navigate their recovery journey and remain as independent as possible. You will work closely with patients, families, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support individualized care plans and monitor patient well-being.

Location

  • Office Location: 801 Rosehill Road, Jackson, MI 49202
  • Main Service Area: Lansing and surrounding area
  • High travel position requiring daily travel within the service area

Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Weekend On-Call Rotation

Required Qualification

  • Minimum 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
  • 16 hours classroom training prior to 16 hours practical training
  • Meet Medicare Home Health Aide training program and competencies
  • Current nurse aide certification in good standing on the state registry
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile insurance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Home Health Aide, Hospice Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Understanding of home health philosophy and specialized care for homebound patients
  • Calm manner in patient homes
  • Empathy for ill, injured, frail, and impaired individuals

Pay Range

$18.50—$23 USD
