About the Role

Help patients regain strength, maintain independence, and achieve their health goals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Health Aide, you provide hands-on personal care and support that enables patients to recover safely while preserving their dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and other daily activities to support recovery and independence. You work closely with patients, families, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support individualized care plans, monitor patient well-being, and reinforce healthy routines that promote recovery and self-sufficiency.

This is a high travel position requiring daily travel within the service area to provide care in homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes.

Office Location: 801 Rosehill Road, Jackson, MI 49202
Main Service Area: Lansing and surrounding area

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Weekend On-Call Rotation

Required Qualification

Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
Sixteen hours of classroom completed prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training
Meets Medicare Home Health Aide training program and competencies
Current certification as a nurse aide and good standing on the state nurse aide registry
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and valid automobile insurance coverage

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Home Health Aide, Hospice Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant

Essential Skills and Competencies

Ability to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions
Understanding of home health philosophy and comfort providing care to homebound patients
Calm demeanor in a patient's home
Empathy for the needs of ill, injured, frail, or impaired individuals
