Description

This is a pure backend engineering role focused on developing and extending cybersecurity services within enterprise IT environments. The work centers on building authentication connectors and services that integrate MFA with protocols and identity systems such as LDAP, RADIUS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID. The role also involves exporting authentication and security logs to SIEM platforms and improving the scalability, reliability, observability, and secure operation of backend systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and extend backend cybersecurity services written in Python
  • Build and maintain authentication connectors for LDAP, RADIUS, and RadSec
  • Integrate MFA solutions with enterprise identity and access technologies
  • Design integrations for exporting logs to SIEM systems
  • Work with security log formats such as CEF, Syslog, and JSON
  • Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services
  • Implement structured logging, monitoring, metrics, and diagnostics
  • Develop services for Linux and Windows Server environments
  • Design secure and maintainable software focused on authentication and networking
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
  • Collaborate on architecture, implementation, testing, and code reviews

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of commercial backend development experience in Python
  • Practical understanding of secure backend development
  • Knowledge of authentication, identity, or secure networking concepts
  • Experience or strong familiarity with LDAP and/or RADIUS
  • Ability to design reliable backend services for enterprise environments
  • Understanding of Linux services and backend application deployment
  • Experience with automated testing and maintainable engineering practices
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts, preferably GitHub-based pipelines
  • Ability to independently analyze and solve technical problems

Nice To Have

  • Experience with C++, Rust, or Go
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Experience with enterprise cloud identity solutions such as Microsoft Entra ID
  • Knowledge of LDAP security and directory integrations
  • Experience with RADIUS and RadSec
  • Understanding of x.509 certificates, TLS, and certificate-based trust models
  • Experience with SIEM systems and log export
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems
  • Background in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
