Description

This is a backend-focused full-stack role centered on developing scalable, secure, cloud-based authentication software. The work involves building core components of a multi-factor authentication platform and related enterprise identity services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core cloud platform components
• Build secure, scalable APIs for enterprise authentication services
• Develop and extend SSO, MFA, SAML, and OpenID Connect services
• Integrate with enterprise identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID
• Build integrations with cybersecurity tools including Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, SIEM, IGA, and IAM systems
• Apply modern application architecture patterns for scalable cloud systems
• Contribute to frontend development using Angular where required
• Design secure software covering authentication, authorization, session handling, and data protection
• Use AI tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve development speed, code quality, and security
• Implement automated, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and DevOps tools
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and secure coding practices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial PHP development with Laravel
• Experience building secure APIs and backend services
• Understanding of cloud software architecture and scalable systems (preferably AWS)
• Knowledge of secure software development and application security
• Understanding of authentication and identity protocols: SAML, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SSO, MFA
• Experience with Angular frontend development
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts
• Ability to use AI coding tools and AI-assisted workflows securely and effectively

Nice To Have

• Experience with TypeScript, Python, C++, Rust, or Go
• Experience in system administration, security engineering, or penetration testing
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and scalable SaaS platforms
• Experience with DevOps automation and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of FIDO2, OAuth, Zero Trust architecture, Microsoft Graph API, OpenID CAEP
• Experience with SIEM systems and security integrations
• AWS certification or formal education in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
