We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (React + TypeScript) to join a small, senior team building next-generation tools for the global renewable energy transition. You will own features end to end, from concept to production, on a platform used by leading solar and energy companies worldwide.

About the Project

Sitemark is a Belgian technology company accelerating the shift to renewable energy through data and AI. Its platform helps solar and energy companies monitor, analyze, and optimize renewable energy assets using drone data and AI-driven insights, and has supported more than 10,000 projects across 82 countries. You will work on the next generation of this platform, combining cloud-native infrastructure, full stack development, and modern engineering practices to deliver a scalable, data-driven system that powers decision making for sustainable energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of new platform features, from planning and prioritization through implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering peers to shape technical solutions and product direction
  • Write clean, efficient, well-tested code following established best practices
  • Participate in product brainstorming, refinement, and continuous improvement sessions
  • Share knowledge and mentor peers within a small, agile team

Qualifications

  • Strong fluency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with solid experience in React and Node.js
  • Proven track record of building scalable, production-grade applications
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and containerization (Docker)
  • Experience with or strong interest in cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS
  • Passion for clean, maintainable, reusable code with a strong focus on testing
  • Collaborative mindset, self-driven approach to problem solving, and ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Experience with Python or Machine Learning is a plus
