We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to support development and maintenance of FICC Pricing Applications, combining strong backend engineering with ownership of CI/CD and DevOps tooling.

What you’ll do

Develop new features and fix defects according to agreed standards and best practices.
Contribute to requirements gathering and delivery planning to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and Business Analysts to define and refine user stories.
Identify transformation opportunities and drive automation initiatives.
Map requirements to delivery schedules and pipelines, ensuring proper test execution.
Review solutions, identify risks and recommend problem-solving strategies.
Support the technical lead in project delivery.
Conduct research in technology and business processes to support best-practice delivery.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

7+ years of strong Java engineering experience with mentoring capability.
Proven experience in platform improvements, performance optimisation and production stability.
Hands-on experience in Agile projects.
Experience with Vertex, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Elasticsearch and ELK.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana and Prometheus.
Experience with message-driven architectures (JMS, IBM MQ, Artemis, Solace).
Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD and cybersecurity tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, NexusIQ, CheckMarx).
Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Familiarity with Unit, Regression and end-to-end testing.
Experience with Git version control.
In-depth knowledge of Trade Life Cycle and Straight Through Processing (STP).

Nice to have

Exposure to Fixed Income Cash and Derivative products.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting guidelines.
Understanding of third-party tools like ION.
Experience with high-frequency and low-latency coding.
Knowledge of Rust, Go or Python.
