Position Summary

Carter's Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a Sewer Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will serve as the sewer expert for homeowners, identifying sewer issues, educating customers on their options, building estimates, and closing repair and replacement projects.

The ideal candidate has experience in sewer, plumbing, drain, excavation, or in-home sales and is comfortable communicating with homeowners, reviewing sewer camera footage, and recommending solutions that meet the customer's needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sewer evaluations and inspections
  • Review sewer camera footage and diagnose sewer line issues
  • Educate homeowners on sewer repair and replacement options
  • Build accurate estimates and scopes of work
  • Present recommendations and close sewer repair and replacement opportunities
  • Coordinate projects with excavation and installation teams
  • Document findings, photos, videos, and customer recommendations
  • Utilize ServiceTitan and company technology to manage opportunities
  • Ensure a smooth customer experience from inspection through project completion
  • Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of plumbing, drain, sewer, excavation, or in-home sales experience preferred
  • Experience operating sewer cameras preferred
  • Service plumbing experience is a plus
  • Excavation or underground utility experience is a plus
  • Experience with ServiceTitan preferred
  • Experience discussing financing options with homeowners
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to educate customers and explain options clearly
  • Comfortable asking for the sale and closing work professionally
  • Ability to identify root intrusion, offsets, separations, bellies, broken pipe, collapsed lines, scale buildup, backups, and restrictions
  • Ability to build accurate estimates and scopes of work
