Software Developer Leaders and Decision-Makers for Workflow Management Tools

About Prolific

Prolific is building a large pool of quality human data used by AI developers, researchers, and organizations to gather insights from paid study participants with diverse experiences and skills.

The role

We are inviting experienced professionals in Software Developer leadership roles to participate in research projects focused on workflow management tools and development processes. We are particularly interested in individuals involved in evaluating, selecting, purchasing, or making decisions about workflow management tools within their organizations.

If you have the necessary experience, you will complete a 10- to 15-minute test to assess your suitability for research tasks. If successful, you will join as a participant and get paid to share your expertise with researchers and organizations who need real-world insight. Researchers may pay up to $200 per hour. Participants must be prepared to complete paid tasks requiring up to one hour of uninterrupted work, though many tasks are shorter.

This opportunity is open to professionals who:

  • Hold a Manager-level position or above
  • Work in Software Engineering, Software Development, Product Management, or UX/Product Design
  • Currently use or are actively considering workflow management tools
  • Participate in decision-making regarding development, product, or workflow management tools

Please note: This is a bench model. By verifying your credentials, you gain eligibility for research opportunities as they become available. Access is based on project demand and professional profile matching.

What you'll bring

  • Manager-level experience or higher in software engineering, product management, or product design functions
  • Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, or managing workflow management tools
  • Familiarity with software development, product development, or design workflows
  • Involvement in purchasing decisions, tool selection, budgeting, or strategic recommendations related to development and collaboration tools

What you'll be doing in the role

  • Complete qualitative surveys and feedback activities
  • Share insights about workflow management practices, tool selection, and organizational needs
