What You'll Do

Samsung Device Solutions America is seeking a Technical Account Manager, DRAM Business Enablement. You will manage customer selection of Samsung for DRAM-based memory solutions across a breadth of applications. The role focuses on successful engineering engagement to drive lead supplier position for design-in and qualification, including technical program management, customer relationship management, and engineering debugging in a collaborative environment.

  • Support Datacenter, PC, and consumer DRAM products including DDR-based DIMMs, LPDDR, discrete DDR components, and HBM.
  • Understand customer requirements for DRAM product design-in and collaborate with HQ to provide solutions.
  • Support self-qualification activities and perform DRAM SI/PI and timing analysis measurements.
  • Manage PCNs and organize Quarterly Technical Reviews, presenting roadmaps and market outlooks.
  • Provide first-line technical and operational issue resolution.
  • Align technical strategy with business strategy.
  • Manage relationships with key customer decision makers.
  • Organize technical communication to troubleshoot, duplicate, and resolve issues.
  • Communicate across various management levels.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years, Master’s with 1+ years, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with DRAM memory design, architecture, and system architecture.
  • Background in Signal Integrity/Power Integrity and timing measurements.
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, fab processes, and advanced packaging technology.
  • Familiarity with system-level operation including RAS, Memory Controller, and memory PHY.
  • Experience supporting DRAM memory products and customer-facing responsibilities.
  • Experience as an Applications, Development, Design, or Validation Engineer or related technical role.
  • Leadership skills for driving customer enablement and debug activities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in Korean is a plus.
  • Some international and domestic travel required (approximately 1–2 times per year).
