Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model, allowing up to 3 remote days per week.

As a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – DevOps & Security, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, dedicated to delivering secure, high-performance cloud solutions. You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and managing highly resilient Azure environments, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.

Your main responsibilities:

• Build and manage HSBC’s Azure foundation platform to enable seamless application deployments.
• Engineer solutions on Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, following best practices.
• Develop, maintain, and document code libraries for functional pattern lifecycle processes.
• Integrate, configure, and manage centrally provided cloud services (IAM, networking, monitoring, containers, OS images).
• Oversee Azure connectivity components, including ExpressRoute, DNS, IP management, traffic routing, NSGs, and firewalls.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and operational risk standards across network, OS, logging, and resiliency domains.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps within Azure.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying services in Azure.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security and compliance tools related to IAM and cloud auditing.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with automation and scripting beyond Terraform.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and operational risk standards.
