We are looking for a Mid-level DevOps Engineer with a developer background to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the code, understands modern cloud-native architectures, and is actively embracing agentic and AI-assisted development as part of their daily work.
About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a key contributor in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment technology for our cloud-native identity platform. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, testers, technical writers, and the Engineering Manager to build reliable, secure, and highly automated environments.
Please note that this position is hybrid, we are looking for a person who’s looking forward to joining our lively office community in Alicante (Spain) or Warsaw (Poland) office for at least 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Manage cloud infrastructure and resources using modern Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements
Ensure robust security, compliance, and operational best practices are followed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development, testing, and production environments
Actively adopt agentic / AI-assisted development practices to increase delivery speed and quality
Expected Experience
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused role
Expertise in Microsoft Azure and ideally familiarity with regulatory-compliant environments
Practical experience with Ansible and Terraform
Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes, preferably AKS
Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, LXC, etc.)
Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and/or Python
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern automation practices
Solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals (networking, storage, databases, ingress, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Developer background, ideally with C# and .NET / .NET 8 (strong plus)
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments is a plus

This role combines infrastructure engineering, automation, CI/CD, container orchestration, and performance optimization in modern cloud environments. Responsibilities In particular, the services to be provided under the contract comprise the following: compliance with company standards reviewing development backlog in Jira, picking up the next priority Development backlog item/user story, writing the code to fulfil the functional and non-functional aspects of the backlog item, writing unit tests to cover the acceptance criteria for the backlog item, submit a pull request to check in the code into GitHub, address any peer review feedback coming from the pull request review, trigger the CI/CD pipeline to deploy the new feature into the test environment.
