Within IT Group Digital Capabilities division, our Analytics, Insights and Reporting Tribe supports the needs for advanced analytics and reporting from all the entities of the Euroclear Group. The team helps to transform data into insights and reports using techniques such as descriptive analysis, text mining, machine learning, process mining, network analytics, predictive modelling, AI etc.  

  • Scope of the tribe can be summarized as follows:  

    • Operating and managing the evolution of the Data & Analytics Platform (DAP) consisting out of a DataLake, the Group Data Warehouse and a new off-premise Operational Data Store aligned with new market evolutions.  

    • Key player in the AI CoE.  

    • Centre of Expertise for BI & Reporting.  

    • Provide project support and expertise to various business lines.  

  

Role requirements

Acting as a hands‑on technical product owner for a business stream (Finance, Risk, IT, Compliance, HR) in the AIR (Analytical Insight & Reporting) Tribe. You’ll combine delivery management with data skills (data modelling, SQL/DAX/Power BI/Python) to turn business needs into measurable product outcomes and help us transition from product ownership to product management.

The Technical Product owner is the bridge between the business stakeholders and Data Engineers to understand, define and prioritize business requirements in line with the defined business vision and strategy. As TPO, you define the demand aspect of initiatives which entails:  

  

  • translate the clients' needs to the language of Engineers who will be developing the solution

  • in collaboration with the Architects defining the most optimal scope and solution to deliver projects focusing on the true client's demand 

  • creating and maintaining the product backlog, documenting and prioritizing requirements and ensuring alignment and understanding by the different business stakeholders of the scope evolution and solution 

  • Supporting the scrum team during the development and refinement sessions 

  • Plans, monitors and manages internal projects for initiation and scope 

  • Ensures project results meet requirements regarding solutions, schedule, cost and expected Business value 

  • Develops effective relationships with business units, divisions or groups of users 

  • Ensures required services are identified, developed and supported to the satisfaction of the business unit/division 

  • Actively contributes to the Customer Digital Experience strategy execution 

  • Prepares communications and makes presentations on product enhancements 

  

Profile: 

What you’ll do

  • Quarterly planning: prepare/execute QBR & QP; align capacity, funding, priorities with portfolio.

  • Business data analysis: capture requirements, map data flows, write SQL (mandatory), design DAX measures, build Power BI reports; automate checks with Python (medium proficiency).

  • Delivery reporting: maintain dashboards and predictability status (PSR); integrate with ServiceNow/Azure DevOps.

  • Stakeholder engagement: work daily with IT, Business, Operations, Sales, Product to clarify priorities and land outcomes.

  • Ways of Working: streamline intake→delivery→release, define lean cadences/RACI/playbooks; champion the shift to product.

  •  Own data products: governance, cross‑tribe, dashboards/PSR, SDLC/IT controls.

     

    Required skills

  • Product Management in complex, multi‑team environments; demonstrable on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

    Data stack:

  • Databricks / Azure data plaforms.

  • SQL — mandatory (data modelling, optimization, QA).

  • DAX + Power BI — solid experience building robust, maintainable models/reports.

  • Python — medium (ETL scripts, data validation, automation).

  • Tooling: Azure DevOps/TFS,  ServiceNow, release/change processes; confident with audit/compliance.

  • Business analysis: requirements, UAT support, data glossary/catalog contribution.

  • Communication & leadership: crisp status, risk and dependency management; ability to influence across tribes and vendors.

 

Additionally:  

  • Several years of experience in a similar role and/or as Technical Product Manager, ideally in the banking and/or financial services sector, with a focus on client communication and interaction channels. 

  • Excellent spoken and written English is required. 

  • Analytical, methodical and results oriented are key skills 

  • You are client focus and you have strong team spirit  

  • Strong inter-personal skills and good presentation skills  

  • Planning/organizational skills and autonomy: able to organize and prioritize
