Additionally, it manages the core technologies to handle complex administrative tasks, including budgeting and negotiation, clinical contracts, payments, and clinical information exchange. The team acts as a strategic liaison connecting Global Pharma Clinical Operations, Country Operations, strategic CROs, and Clinical Sites. Through this alignment, the area architects technology portfolios that foster strong external relationships and drive a unified, partner-centric clinical ecosystem.

As an Informatics Partner at this level, you lead strategic and complex cross-functional efforts across countries or domains, aligning initiatives with country-wide priorities and business outcomes. Navigates highly complex, competing demands between global and local teams. Employs data-driven frameworks to transition subjective business priorities into objective, scalable technology roadmaps and robust operational resolutions.

  • Stakeholder Management: Manages relationships across Global Pharma Clinical Operations, Country Operations, APO, and strategic CROs with trust and expertise, effectively communicates complex ideas, and contributes to strategic business initiatives. Shapes joint business-IT collaborations and proactively drives global process improvements. Proactively manages competing priorities across these diverse local and global stakeholders to drive a unified, 'One-Roche' approach to external clinical site and investigator interactions.

  • Impact/Strategy: Leads vision and roadmap creation, effectively connects across domains, and anticipates strategic needs at country-wide levels, solving strategically valuable challenges such as initiatives to combat investigator 'Portal Fatigue' by migrating fragmented legacy systems toward unified, partner-centric platforms.

  • Complexity/Product Size: Supports domain-level work within certain countries.

  • Business/Technical ability: Leads technology advocacy with advanced expertise, serves as a key opinion leader, manages stakeholders end-to-end, and scales piloted solutions to maximize impact.
