Senior Growth Product Manager
Senior • Hybrid
18,000 - 25,000 PLN
Gdansk, Poland
Do you get energy from turning complexity into clarity and leaks into lift? Are you obsessed with understanding why users drop, hesitate, or churn - and fixing it systematically? If shaping high-performing product conversion rates is your craft, AirHelp is the place for you.
We’re looking for a Senior Growth Product Manager to own and optimize our end-to-end product conversion - from first interaction, through collecting information and documents, until successful sign-up for the service. You’ll be accountable for reducing friction, improving conversion, and ensuring customers experience consistent, compounding value at every step of their journey. Your success will boost AirHelp's growth and will bring compensation and comfort to millions of travellers worldwide.
This is a hybrid role based in Kraków, Gdańsk, Warsaw, Barcelona, or Berlin.
What you’ll drive:
Own the Conversion Strategy
Take full ownership of the customer conversion rate across 2 channels: website and mobile app.
Define a clear conversion rate optimization strategy aligned with company growth and conversion goals.
Identify the biggest drop-off points and prioritize the highest-impact opportunities to reduce friction.
Optimize for Conversion Rate
Design and ship product initiatives that improve conversion rate and reduce drop off.
Lead the initiative to drastically reduce the latency between a flight disruption and claim submission.
Partner closely with the marketing team and with other product managers to optimize traffic in the most possible way.
Continuously refine value moments that keep customers coming back.
Turn Insights Into Product Impact
Use qualitative research and quantitative data to deeply understand user behavior and intent.
Define success metrics for every funnel stage and ensure they are measurable, visible, and actionable.
Ship, Learn and Scale
Partner closely with other product managers on testing and shipping additional services exposed to the users.
Work hands-on with design and engineering to deliver improvements quickly and iteratively.
Own the backlog related to conversion optimization and make tough prioritization calls.
Ensure learnings are shared, documented, and reused - not rediscovered.
What You’ll Deliver in Your First 12 Months
Improve conversion rate by 15–20% across key customer journeys.
Increase the number of claims coming from our new mobile app to achieve 10% from that channel.
Launch and scale at least 3 high-impact experiments with proven business outcomes.
Optimize the submission flow to maximize upfront document collection, ensuring higher claim validity and success rates without negatively impacting conversion rate.
What Sets You Apart
4 - 6 years of product management experience, owning customer-facing products from discovery through delivery to evaluation and refinement.
Strong track record of optimizing conversion, improving retention, and reducing churn in B2C or subscription-based products.
Deep understanding of customer behavior, lifecycle thinking, and product-led growth principles.
High fluency in product analytics, experimentation, and translating data into decisive action.
Comfortable making trade-offs, running experiments, and iterating fast without losing strategic direction.
Excellent communicator who can align diverse stakeholders around outcomes, not outputs.
Customer-obsessed, curious by default, and motivated by measurable impact.
Why AirHelp:
Autonomy & Trust: No micromanagement. You own outcomes, not just tasks.
Real Product Impact: Your work directly affects millions of travelers worldwide.
Growth Investment: Personal development plans, workshops, mentorship, and language classes.
Flexible Benefits: Gym, development budget, childcare, transport or travel subsidies - your choice.
Global Workstyle: Work from anywhere up to 2 weeks per year.
Purpose-Driven Mission: We stand up for travelers and fight unfair practices.

15,000 - 25,000 PLN/mo
🏢 Summary: Full-stack Software Engineer role focused on building and optimizing the end-to-end claiming journey in a travel tech platform, directly impacting submission rates, reliability, and user trust. The position involves owning frontend and backend features, experimentation, integrations, and production reliability within a modern tech stack. It offers high product impact, daily deployments, and collaboration across product, design, and data teams. 🗂️ Requirements: 4+ years building and owning client-facing production applications, Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React or Ruby on Rails or Node.js, Ability to work across frontend and backend (full-stack development), Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, Experience with testing, deployment, and production monitoring, Ability to design, run, and analyze experiments in production environments, Fluency in written and spoken English 📃 Skills: TypeScript, React, Node.js, Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ELK, Grafana, Sentry, GitHub, CI/CD, Bruno, Playwright, k6, Vite, Turborepo, TanStack, Zod 🏢 Description: AirHelp is a global travel tech company on a mission to make every journey smoother. We built our name helping millions of travellers claim the flight compensation they're owed - and that's now the foundation of a broader platform of travel protection and convenience products spanning the entire journey. We are looking for a product-minded Full-stack Software Engineer to join our Claiming Experience team, responsible for the journey that helps travellers start, complete, and submit their claims with confidence. It's one of the highest-leverage surfaces in the company. What happens here moves submission rates, traveller trust, and the cost and speed of everything that happens downstream - legal, documents, operations, comms. Small wins compound. The claiming journey is a real product problem that happens to span frontend, backend, experimentation, document and signature flows, legal requirements, partner integrations, and production reliability. You'll own meaningful parts of it end to end, working day to day with engineers, PMs, designers, data analysts, and QA. This is a hybrid role based in Kraków. Our office is at al.3 Maja 9. Salary: If you join us as a full-time employee: 14.000 - 20.000 PLN gross/month If you join us as a contractor (for specific projects): 15.000 - 25.000 PLN net + VAT on a B2B contract What you can expect from us Opportunity to build high-leverage features and tooling for the core business domains that directly impact the travel experience for millions of users. Culture that promotes good engineering practices, high-quality code, and continuous improvement. Daily deployments to production, ensuring fast impact and iterative development. Access to a modern tech stack and a variety of functional areas, including: Backend: : Node.js and Ruby on Rails Frontend: TypeScript-first React ecosystem (Vite, Turborepo, TanStack Query/Table, Zod) Databases: PostgreSQL Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform. Monitoring: ELK/Grafana, Sentry, GitHub Actions CI/CD Testing: Bruno (API), Playwright (E2E), k6 (performance) What you'll achieve: Build and evolve the core claiming flows, across frontend and backend, all the way to production. Work with Product, Design, and Data to spot friction, frame the problem, and ship measurable improvements. Design and run experiments that lift submission rates and reduce confusion and make it easier and safer for the whole team to do the same. Integrate the claiming flow with the systems around it: documents, comms, claim processing, partner APIs, internal tooling. Modernise the legacy parts of the journey so the team can move faster with less risk. Raise the bar on reliability and observability for these flows, so we catch and fix issues before they cost a traveller their claim. Hold the line on engineering quality through reviews, testing, and pragmatic technical decisions. Use AI-assisted workflows where they genuinely speed you up or improve the work. A year in, you'll have measurably improved how many eligible travellers complete their claims, made experimentation faster and safer, and simplified enough of the codebase that the team ships with more confidence than it does today. What sets you apart: 4+ years building and owning client-facing production apps where reliability, performance, and conversion actually matter. Strong in at least one of our core technologies: TypeScript/React, Ruby/Rails, Node.js and willing to work across the stack. A product instinct: you care whether the code solved the right problem, not just whether it shipped. Comfortable across the full lifecycle: framing, building, testing, deploying, monitoring, iterating with the testing discipline to back it. Solid with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL. An ownership mindset: you go looking for the important problems instead of waiting for a perfect ticket. Clear communicator in English, written and spoken.
