🏢 Summary: Lead UI/UX Designer role owning end-to-end product design, visual language, and design system for a learning and research product. You will turn ambiguous problems into clear UX flows and high-fidelity UI, collaborating closely with engineering to ship polished experiences. The role combines product design, brand identity, and rapid user validation with full ownership of quality and craft. 🗂️ Requirements: Proven experience in end-to-end UI/UX design for digital products, Ability to create UX flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, Experience defining and scaling design systems with components and variants, Proficiency in Figma for auto-layout, prototyping, and system management, Experience collaborating closely with engineering for production handoff, Ability to conduct lightweight user research and rapid validation, Strong understanding of HCI principles and interaction design, Ability to define and maintain cohesive brand identity across product surfaces 📃 Skills: Figma, UX, UI, Prototyping, Wireframing, DesignSystems, Typography, Illustration, Branding, HCI, InteractionDesign, AutoLayout, UserResearch 🏢 Description: ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an expert UI/UX designer with outstanding taste and a bias for shipping to lead every visual and brand aspect of our product — from the core design system down to the last pixel. This is not a "pure artist" role. You'll work in a tight product team, iterate fast, and make hard trade-offs when reality demands it. You'll own the visual language of a product used by people who care deeply about learning and research. The expectation is high — you define what good looks like, and you hold that bar as the product grows. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Core product journeys Own end-to-end design for the most important product experiences — search and discovery, reading, notes, and collaboration. Turn ambiguous problems into clear UX flows, prototypes, and shippable UI. Design system Define and evolve the design system — components, variants, states — so the team can move fast without quality regressions as features multiply. Craft and details Raise the bar on hierarchy, interaction, motion, and micro-details so the product feels inevitable rather than assembled. Engineering collaboration Work in a tight shipping loop with engineering to land high-fidelity designs in production exactly as intended. User research Run lightweight user research and rapid validation when it meaningfully reduces risk — not as a process, but as a tool. Brand coherence Keep brand and marketing surfaces coherent with the product — visual language, typography, and key visuals. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Elite communication You set expectations accurately and live up to them. No surprises on timelines, scope, or quality. Deep resilience Feedback cycles, tight deadlines, tough discussions — you have a large buffer before stress impacts your output. No ego Your work gets better through collaboration. We're here to build something great, not to manage insecurities. Product mastery You understand what makes great software feel inevitable — clarity, hierarchy, consistency, motion, copy, and details. You've studied the best and can articulate why it works. Brand instinct You can define a visual identity that feels premium, coherent, and distinctly ours — and keep it consistent as the product scales. HCI fascination Deeply interested in human-computer interaction. Actively exploring AI-native interfaces and new interaction primitives that feel intuitive, not bolted on. Bonus Ex-founder experience. DESIGN STACK Figma for components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems. Brand identity, guidelines, typography, colour, and illustration. Close collaboration with engineering for production handoff. Lightweight user research and validation. The stack isn't fixed — outcomes matter more than tools. DESIGN CULTURE Radical ownership You own the visual language and the bar. You decide what good looks like — and you're accountable for it. Ruthless simplicity We delete, simplify, and reduce. Every element must earn its place. Fast iteration Polished does not mean slow. We prototype, test, and refine quickly. Direct feedback Feedback is blunt, concise, and respectful. No politics. RECRUITMENT PROCESS Recruiter screening — a short intro call. 1-on-1 with the founder — a conversation about how you think and design. Design challenge (~2 hours) — onboard to the product, review what's working and what isn't, record a Loom and send it over. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary $90,000 – $120,000 depending on experience. Equity and profit share Core team members receive both equity and profit share as part of the compensation package. Unlimited PTO Use your own judgement — we won't count days. Real ownership No managers capping your authority. You own your work end-to-end, with the full trust of the team behind you.

Currently, we hire over 150 fantastic people. The Role This is a 70% hands-on / 30% leadership role. The majority of your time you'll be in the work itself - designing, producing, and iterating performance creatives. The remaining 30% is about leading: managing a team of 2 designers, giving direction, mentoring, and building a creative operation that runs with ownership and accountability. Day to day, you'll own the full creative loop: from hook ideation and scripting, through production and editing, to reading results. You'll also set the direction for Brand and Web design across Tidio, Lyro, and Hubi - making sure everything your team ships is aligned with each brand's challenges and goals. Job requirements As a Creative Lead, you will be responsible for: Staying across all three brands (Tidio, Lyro, Hubi) - understanding their challenges, positioning, and priorities to ensure design output stays aligned and purposeful. Leading and mentoring a team of 2 designers (Brand & Web) - giving direction, fostering a proactive, end-to-end ownership mindset, and holding people accountable in line with our values. Owning the creative process end-to-end - from systemizing production workflows and managing budgets to making data-driven decisions on what to scale or cut. Designing and iterating static ad creatives for Meta - testing hooks, visuals, and formats to drive CTR and conversions. Producing video ads and AI UGC end-to-end - from concept and script through generation, editing, and final delivery. Independently analyzing creative performance in Meta Ads Manager - reading CTR, hook rate, thumbstop, and CPA, and translating that into the next iteration. Continuously delivering, testing, and iterating on creatives based on campaign performance and insights - scaling winners and refreshing assets before fatigue hits. Researching TikTok & Meta trends, ad formats, and hooks, and translating them into a structured pipeline of creative ideas and angles - bridging the gap between performance and design. Stacking and managing AI tools for video and UGC production (Runway, Sora, HeyGen, Arcads, Captions, Creatify, ElevenLabs, Kling, etc.) - choosing the right tool for the job, not the other way around. Collaborating with UGC creators and freelancers - writing briefs and scripts, coordinating the production process, and ensuring output meets performance standards. You are the perfect candidate if you have: Hands-on experience designing performance ads for SaaS, e-commerce, or D2C. Strong project and production management skills - you can run a multi-brand creative operation, juggle freelancers and internal stakeholders, and keep quality high without bottlenecks. A strong understanding of the paid social funnel - you know how hook, body, and CTA work together, and what separates a top-funnel creative from a retargeting one. Experience managing or mentoring designers - you know how to give direction without micromanaging and how to build accountability into team culture. Experience with AI UGC, faceless ads, avatar creatives, or user-style voiceover content. Proficiency in Figma, CapCut, Premiere, or After Effects - enough to deliver end-to-end without dependencies. A fast, iterative working style - you'd rather ship 10 variants and test than perfect one for a week. Active knowledge of social media trends - you know what's working on Meta and TikTok right now, not a year ago. The ability to balance hands-on craft with team leadership - comfortable spending the majority of your time executing at a senior/staff level while also owning people, process, and direction. A structured approach to creative ideation - you don't just follow trends, you turn them into repeatable frameworks and pipelines your team can execute against. What we offer: Hybrid work model with flexible hours. 26 days off guaranteed in a year. Great development opportunities – company-supported courses and conferences. Individual work tools – MacBook Pro, Dell screen, JBL headphones. You can tailor the equipment to your needs! Mental well-being program – individual therapy sessions and resources for employees.
