Your role

As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for Poland, you will serve as the primary representative of the Network Services organization for Poland GDC leadership teams. You will oversee critical network operations, guide technical teams, manage major incidents, and ensure seamless service delivery across a complex enterprise environment. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and operational excellence.

Your tasks

  • Stakeholder & Business Alignment: Ensure continuous alignment between network operations and business priorities, translate business needs into actionable technical strategies.

  • Escalation Management: serve as the final point of contact for critical (P1/P2) network outages, lead Major Incidents and Potential Major Incidents, ensuring rapid service restoration, coordinate with global network teams and vendors to drive efficient troubleshooting, engage the appropriate technical experts and manage Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.

  • Service Delivery: oversee 24/7 support operations, including rotational schedules and on-call structures, ensure operational readiness, process adherence, and performance across all support teams, monitor SLA compliance and implement continuous improvements to operational efficiency.

Your profile

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in Network Engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or managerial role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Certifications: CCNP (Preferred), CCIE (Preferred)

  • Good knowdlege on Switching and Routing especially on BGP, OSPF, VPC, and MLAG within Cisco and Arista environments.

  • Proven experience managing Cisco ASA, Fortigate, and Checkpoint; deep knowledge of Cisco ISE.

  • Expert-level packet capture analysis and performance tuning for WAN accelerators.

  • Practical knowledge of Network-as-Code (Ansible/Python) to streamline repetitive tasks.

  • Fluent English with the ability to simplify technical jargon for non-technical executives.
