We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Windows Networking & GKE to join our dynamic Technology Services team.
Candidates are expected to work from the office full-time (5 days) during the first week for onboarding, setup, and to get familiar with the team and client environment teams.

Job Description:
Provide specialized technical services for Windows systems and networking within Google Kubernetes Engineers (GKE) environments (incl. Kubernetes).
Respond to and resolve incidents and bugs related to GKE Windows, including root cause analysis, and implementing code changes as necessary to address issues.
Contribute to the design and development of new features and enhancements for Windows support within GKE.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated build and test suites for GKE Windows components.
Manage, enhance, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for GKE Windows components.
Perform advanced Windows system-level and kernel debugging, including but not limited to crash dump analysis, to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
Diagnose and resolve intricate system and network issues, particularly those affecting containerized Windows applications running on Kubernetes.
Enable, test, and qualify new compute and storage features for New Product Introductions (NPIs) within the GKE Windows environment.
Thoroughly document investigation findings, issue resolutions, code changes, and system improvements for Google engineering teams.
Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as mutually agreed upon by both parties.

This is an infrastructure-networking-and architecture-focused role, centered on ensuring seamless connectivity between cloud environments and globally used business applications. Your responsibilities will include designing cloud network architectures, as well as working with routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and other cloud networking technologies. Key responsibilities Planning and managing networks connecting cloud environments (intra-cloud) and on-premises systems. Providing guidance and support in the implementation of networking solutions. Work closely with Squad Leads and other stakeholders to understand requirements and align integration strategies with business goals. Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and secure, adhering to best practices in IT architecture and Bayer’s strategy. Create, maintain, and review comprehensive documentation for processes, standards, and best practices. Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration among diverse teams across different geographical locations. Ideal candidate profile Minimum 6 years of experience in computer networking (both traditional and cloud environments) and experience with AWS (knowledge of Azure or GCP is a plus). Strong experience in computer networks (routing, VPN, hybrid connectivity, switching, firewall, load balancer, SD-WAN, network architecture). Very good knowledge of Python .
