We are looking for a hands-on engineer who thrives deep in systems, debugging complex issues, and building reliable infrastructure at scale. If Windows internals, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments are your playground this role is for you.

💡 What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver specialized technical expertise for Windows systems and networking within Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and bugs from root cause analysis to implementing fixes in code

  • Design and build new features to enhance Windows support in Kubernetes environments

  • Maintain and improve automated build and testing frameworks for GKE Windows components

  • Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable delivery

  • Perform deep system-level and kernel debugging (including crash dump analysis)

  • Diagnose complex system and networking issues affecting containerized Windows workloads

  • Enable and validate new compute and storage features for upcoming product releases (NPIs)

  • Document findings, fixes, and improvements to support engineering teams at scale

🧠 What we’re looking for

  • 5–8 years of experience in systems engineering or similar roles

  • Strong expertise in Windows internals, system-level debugging, and networking

  • Solid experience with Kubernetes (especially GKE) and containerized environments

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex, distributed systems

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

  • Ability to dive deep into problems and drive them to resolution

  • Experience with kernel debugging and crash dump analysis

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems

  • Exposure to storage and compute systems in cloud environments
