Databricks Platform Administrator

We are looking for a Databricks Administrator to manage our platform at the tenant level (not limited to EDP) across dev, test, and prod environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workspace & Account Admin: Create and configure Databricks workspaces across environments. Manage account-level settings, subscriptions, platform capabilities, and cloud integrations.

  • Identity & Access: Configure and troubleshoot SSO, identity federation, and Identity Provider integrations.

  • Security & Governance: Ensure data security through encryption, network controls, and auditability.

  • Compute & Cost Management: Create/manage clusters and SQL warehouses. Define and enforce cluster policies (size, auto-termination, instance types) to optimize performance and costs.

  • Monitoring & Visibility: Track platform usage, cluster health, and job execution. Analyze audit logs and metrics for full visibility into system activity.

  • Support: Assist data engineers and key users with platform utilization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Databricks workspace and tenant/account-level administration.

  • Strong skills in security configuration, compute optimization, and platform monitoring.

  • Communicative English (essential for daily cooperation).
