Andersen is hiring a VB.NET Developer for a project maintaining and enhancing enterprise business applications while supporting ongoing product development.

The project is focused on maintaining and enhancing a business application, ensuring platform stability and delivering new features. It includes end-to-end ownership of the codebase, integration with external engineering tools, and supporting a continuous product release cycle.
Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of the existing VB.NET / WPF desktop application.
Investigating, reproducing and fixing reported bugs (DB connectivity, project save/load, grid rendering).
Developing and shiping new features per engineering team requests.
Maintain and improve AutoCAD plugin integration (in progress); prepare groundwork for EPLAN.
Participating in quarterly release planning and delivery.
Must-haves:
Experience with VB.NET in production environments for 3+ years.
Strong WPF — layouts, bindings, custom controls.
Deep understanding of MVVM pattern in practice.
Experience with DevExpress WPF controls (grids, editors).
Understanding of .NET Framework 4.x constraints and specifics.
Working with TFS (check-in/check-out workflow).
Experience with Excel Interop for data import and export.
Ability to read and navigate a legacy codebase independently.
Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice to haves:
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or similar cloud technologies; experience integrating with Azure DevOps.
