Senior SQA Automation Engineer
📍 Gdańsk, Poland (Hybrid) - 2/3 days work from office

Salary: 23,000 – 25,000 PLN gross/month (employment contract)

About the Team
The Core Intelligence team builds and operates large-scale data processing pipelines and search systems. The team works at the intersection of Information Retrieval, NLP, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain automated test frameworks for backend systems and APIs
Drive automation-first testing approach with targeted manual testing
Analyze test results and report defects with root cause insights
Support performance and search quality testing
Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure high quality

Requirements

4+ years of experience in Software QA with strong automation focus
Hands-on experience with Python and/or C#
Experience testing backend systems, REST APIs, and data pipelines
Familiarity with CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps)
Understanding of Docker and modern dev environments
Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to have

Experience with search systems or data-intensive environments
Exposure to ML / NLP systems
