Diagnose defects by investigating logs, requests, and data, then document findings with full reproduction steps (including logs and recordings when needed). Maintain and grow test execution in CI/CD pipelines and perform code reviews for test assets in collaboration with developers. Support requirements analysis, refinement, and sprint planning, while contributing to the overall test strategy and quality metrics. You're ideal for this role if you have: 5+ years of experience in automated testing (API and/or E2E). Very strong knowledge of Java for backend automation. Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills. Experience with API testing (REST), using tools such as Rest Assured and/or Gatling. Proven experience with E2E automation using Playwright. Working knowledge of SQL for data validation. Experience with Git (PRs & code review). Practical experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps) plus Maven or Gradle. Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments. It is a strong plus if you have: (optional) Experience with performance testing (e.g., Gatling). Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with tools like Swagger and API mocking.
