Position overview
We are seeking a forward thinking Program Manager with a background in Quality Assurance and strong program leadership skills to drive the QE Modernization stream. The ideal candidate will have experience managing automation initiatives and familiarity with AI testing instruments such as Cursor. They will oversee the rollout of Playwright MCP and TypeScript automation frameworks, fostering innovation and continuous improvement within the QA teams.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the QE Modernization program, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define program scope, objectives, and success metrics.
Drive the adoption of Playwright MCP and TypeScript as core automation technologies within the organization’s QE processes.
Coordinate with AI experts and tool vendors to integrate AI powered testing tools such as Cursor into the test ecosystem.
Manage risks, dependencies, and change management activities related to QA modernization efforts.
Foster collaboration among automation engineers, manual testers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and effective knowledge sharing.
Provide regular program status updates, highlighting progress, challenges, and mitigation plans.
Champion continuous improvement and innovation in quality engineering practices.
Requirements
Five or more years of experience in program or project management within Quality Engineering, software testing, or related areas.
Hands on QA experience or a strong understanding of QA processes and automation frameworks is a significant plus.
Familiarity with Playwright MCP, TypeScript, and other modern test automation tools.
Experience with AI driven testing tools such as Cursor or similar technologies.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive cross team collaboration.
Demonstrated success in managing complex initiatives in Agile environments.
Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Nice to have
Background in software development or test automation is highly desirable.
