Introduction & Summary
The QA Specialist will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications by executing structured testing processes and supporting the delivery of high-quality digital solutions. This role demands expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with a strong emphasis on applying best practices in quality assurance.
Main Responsibilities
Design and execute test strategies covering functional, non-functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.
Develop test cases, scripts, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Execute manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Validate bug fixes and ensure regression coverage.
Maintain test documentation including plans, scripts, and reports.
Ensure adherence to QA standards, SDLC processes, and best practices.
Support release readiness and provide quality insights for go/no-go decisions.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Strong experience in both manual and automated testing.
Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.
Nice to Have
Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
