Introduction & Summary

The QA Specialist will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications by executing structured testing processes and supporting the delivery of high-quality digital solutions. This role demands expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with a strong emphasis on applying best practices in quality assurance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test strategies covering functional, non-functional, integration, regression, UAT, and performance testing.

  • Develop test cases, scripts, and test data based on business and technical requirements.

  • Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

  • Execute manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers.

  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

  • Validate bug fixes and ensure regression coverage.

  • Maintain test documentation including plans, scripts, and reports.

  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, SDLC processes, and best practices.

  • Support release readiness and provide quality insights for go/no-go decisions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

  • Strong experience in both manual and automated testing.

  • Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB) preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).

Responsibilities: Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (playwright) Perform testing and defect management using tools like Xray and Jira. Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. Coding and scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript for automation. Apply modern Agile practices in the software development process. Maintain strong communication and collaboration with team members.
