Who we are looking for
Our team builds international macroeconomics indicators using cutting edge technology. We are looking for a smart and motivated individual to join us as a Web Scraper. In this role you will follow our proven methodology to gather information using our web scraping tools and structure the data for storage in our databases. Additionally, you will analyze the information collected to ensure quality, troubleshoot problems, and fix errors.
What you will be responsible for
Maintenance of existing web scraping processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality data.
Development of new scraping processes to gather data from web sites identified by our extended team.
Monitoring of scraping processes for assigned geographic locations.
Collaboration with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.
Troubleshooting issues and analysis of root causes for problems.
