Who we are looking for
Our team builds international macroeconomics indicators using cutting edge technology. We are looking for a smart and motivated individual to join us as a Web Scraper. In this role you will follow our proven methodology to gather information using our web scraping tools and structure the data for storage in our databases. Additionally, you will analyze the information collected to ensure quality, troubleshoot problems, and fix errors.
What you will be responsible for
Maintenance of existing web scraping processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality data.
Development of new scraping processes to gather data from web sites identified by our extended team.
Monitoring of scraping processes for assigned geographic locations.
Collaboration with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.
Troubleshooting issues and analysis of root causes for problems.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Current student or recent graduate with a degree in computer science or information technology (or similar)
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML, XPATH, etc.), and programming languages (e.g. Python) is helpful
Knowledge in SQL databases and software programming tools, techniques and methodologies is advantageous
Great communicator with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Independent thinker and problem solver with good attention to detail
Service-oriented with a passion for quality
Minimum Salary:
zł60,000 Coroczny
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
