Who we are looking for 

We are hiring a Digital Asset Workstream Testing Lead, Officer, for State Street’s recently launched Digital Assets Operations team who will be responsible for operational testing across a portfolio of value streams that advance our digital asset capabilities. This role is central to building the future digital infrastructure of financial markets, ensuring that multiple capabilities are fully tested and prepared to go to market with operational excellence.  This is an exciting opportunity for an agile and dedicated operations testing manager looking to take on a leading role in building the future digital infrastructure of financial markets from the ground up. 

You will report directly into Digital Asset Operations management, and work closely with our dedicated Digital teams in Product Development, IT, Business, Governance & Controls, Risk and Compliance. You will lead a team of testers for robust capability testing support. The broader Digital Asset Operations team is responsible for assisting in the design and/or execution of the operational model for digital assets capabilities within our Global Delivery teams as part of the delivering the enterprise strategy for State Street Digital. 

This unique role requires deep knowledge of capability testing and development in enterprise systems and applications, a strong understanding of next generation technologies, including distributed ledger technologies (Blockchain), digital custody, cryptocurrencies, wallet technology and tokenization, as well as traditional investment services business operations – particularly in the areas of custody, payments, trading, securities servicing and process, compliance and process documentation. This role also requires experience with business transformation and change management to help grow nascent businesses.

 What you will be responsible for 

As a Digital Asset Workstream Testing Lead, Officer, you will: 

  • Own the overall workstream testing management for Digital Asset Operations across a portfolio of value streams to deliver digital capabilities 

  • Ensure that the digital capabilities execute across systems in alignment with operating model 

  • Establish testing procedures to ensure robust testing and operational excellence across all capabilities 

  • Lead test sprints across multiple teams, develop test scripts, execute tests, document results, and ensure timely resolution of identified gaps 

  • Oversee a team to develop, test, and enhance capability development in UAT and Production 

  • Manage risks, resources, and stakeholder communications across the test dates 

  • Provide regular communication and reporting updates to ensure full transparency and clarity of workstream testing delivery
