Why This Role Is Valuable
Our People & Culture (HR) intern will gain exposure to a wide range of functions that enhance the people experience within Blackstone portfolio companies and Revantage. During the internship, individuals will receive training and work on a variety of projects that directly impact the business. Interns are immediately a part of our collaborative culture and build enduring relationships with their fellow interns, manager, and assigned mentor. Interns also can network with various professionals through organized social events. This position is based out of Revantage's office in Dallas, Texas or Chicago, IL.
Our 2025 summer internship program will begin June 2025 and last through August 2025. To be eligible, you must be a college student during the time of the internship program.
How You Add Value

  • Data entry of various employee transactions and corresponding memos accurately.
  • Assist with execution of new hire onboarding, including coordination of new hire set up, assisting with orientation, form I-9s, and administering new hire onboarding surveys.
  • Resolve employee questions promptly and accurately through case management system and phone line, escalating inquiries as needed.
  • Assist with termination process and initiating system access removal.
  • Manage monthly service and performance award distribution and coordinate associated special bonuses with payroll.
  • Upload employee data to employee perks system.
  • Digitally file employees' documents into electronic file system; assist with preparation of physical employee files for mass upload to electronic file system
  • Assist with generating and disseminating reports on workforce data as needed.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Required:

  • Current undergraduate student at an accredited four-year institution pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Applications

We’re looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to join a team that keeps frameworks lean and focuses on what matters: clean, maintainable code, shipped fast with TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery. What you'll be doing Taking full ownership of the financial domain, from addressing a business problem to implementation and maintenance Deciding on priorities and plans, and influencing business decisions Working on performance and scalability, ensuring our sharded, CQRS-based architecture can easily scale further Developing simple and clear APIs that encapsulate financial complexity and consistency for hundreds of services Participating in company-wide projects, such as seamlessly onboarding and configuring new products and markets Continuing our scalability journey with ledgers across the globe and a full CQRS storage level Working directly with Product and Finance teams to become an advisor for new finance functionalities What you'll need Fluency in Java 8+ years of experience in back-end development A bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a similar field Expertise in designing and building high-performance, real-time distributed systems Solid experience with database sharding and scaling high-concurrency systems Great knowledge of CQRS and event-driven architectures The ability to start from a business problem, scope a solution, then design, implement, test, release, and maintain it Fluency in English Nice to have Experience in high-load processing environments, particularly in fintech or a similar industry Familiarity with a global, multi-regional deployment model Experience in startups or scale-ups Experience contributing to projects that impact an entire organisation Compensation range Poland: PLN44,300 - PLN46,600 gross monthly* Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process *Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience Building a global financial super app isn’t enough.
