WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

GMV, a leader in satellite control centers in the telecommunications sector, is looking for a project engineer to implement its ground segment systems for clients in Poland.

In our team you will be responsible for deploying GMV's control center software products, preparing deliverables for the client, and installing them both at GMV and at the client's site. 

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for System engineer (preferably from telecommunications, but also from software or aeronautics), interested in the Space domain or critical systems.

Key skills:

  •  Interest in the Space sector and willingness to learn the specifics of mission-critical systems.       

  • Practical, methodical and detailed-oriented.

  • Basic programming knowledge to support the team with scripting or configuration tasks (C++, Java, python)

  • Good communication skills and attention to operational detail.

  • Capable of understanding and potentially defining an end-to-end solution based on subsystems.

Build and maintain ETL pipelines and relational/spatial databases (PostgreSQL, PostGIS). Implement and improve backend services in Java (and related technologies) following best engineering practices. Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot services in AWS using automated CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with a global team to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions for the aviation domain.
