We are seeking a Junior Java Engineer to join our innovative team at EPAM, working on mission-critical systems for the data center domain.

Responsibilities
Develop new features and improve existing code for better readability and performance
Learn project-specific domains and technologies, supporting both development and maintenance activities
Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders regularly to ensure alignment and progress
Collaborate with a skilled team to design and implement scalable, high-performance systems
Deliver quality software solutions within agreed deadlines as part of an autonomous engineering team
Requirements
1+ years of experience in software development and integration across the full system implementation lifecycle
Background in Java development with 1+ years of hands-on experience
Familiarity with Java, JUnit, Mockito, and SQL
Strong proficiency in English (B2+) for client-facing communication and collaboration
Excellent self-management and task prioritization capabilities
Nice to have
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Familiarity with Google Guice, Protocol Buffers, or gRPC
Knowledge of TypeScript
