Overview :
- BS Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. 3–6 years of experience in test/validation or electronics engineering.
- This position is based within Client Automotive Development Center (ADC), supporting the In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) division, with a strong focus on audio and reception hardware systems.
- The role is centered on the development and validation of infotainment-related electronic components, specifically:
- Audio systems: amplifiers, speakers
- Reception systems: AM/FM/XM antennas
- Secondary exposure to peripherals: USB, wireless charging, telematics
- This is a hardware-focused, end-to-end role (no software) involving requirements definition, supplier interaction, component validation, and support to mass production.
- The engineer will act as a key interface between internal teams and suppliers, ensuring components meet performance, quality, and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
IVI Audio & Reception Development
- Own the development and validation of audio and reception components within infotainment systems
- Understand, review, and develop technical requirements for speakers, amplifiers, and antennas
- Ensure alignment with system-level infotainment performance targets
Supplier Management & RFQ Process
- Translate requirements into specifications for suppliers
- Support RFQ (Request for Quotation) activities and technical discussions
- Participate in supplier selection and evaluation
- Ensure supplier proposals meet technical and performance expectations
Hardware Validation & Testing
- Plan and execute component-level validation for audio and reception systems
- Perform hardware testing (lab / HIL / vehicle when applicable)
- Verify that components meet defined requirements and performance criteria
- Support validation activities from development through mass production
Issue Analysis & Production Support
- Analyze issues identified during:
- Validation phase
- Mass production
- Field/customer feedback
- Conduct root cause analysis and propose countermeasures
- Support resolution of technical issues with suppliers and internal teams
Documentation & Reporting
- Create and maintain technical documentation and validation reports
- Clearly communicate test results, issues, and recommendations
- Ensure proper tracking of requirements, validation status, and issues
Profile:
- Electrical/electronics engineer with interest or experience in infotainment systems (IVI), audio, or RF/reception
- Ability to understand and work with component-level requirements
- Comfortable working with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn in a structured environment
- Strong analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with ability to explain technical topics clearly
Must Have :
