Project overview

Design and implement a robust QA automation framework with comprehensive UI and end-to-end test coverage, collaborating closely with the development team to ensure high software quality, product stability, and reliable delivery across releases.The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the automation framework, as well as designing and developing tests for service contracts, integrations, and end-to-end scenarios.

Position overview

We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer skilled in automating tests for desktop applications using Python and Robot Framework. The goal is to develop and maintain automated tests for critical banking workflows. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, executing tests, reporting defects, and supporting CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and efficiency. Strong QA expertise and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and functional test scripts for desktop application using Robot Framework and Python

  • Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to define testing scope and acceptance criteria

  • Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects in a timely manner

  • Maintain and optimize the test automation framework to support regression and integration testing

  • Ensure automation solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with project delivery timelines and quality goals

  • Ensure full test coverage of critical banking workflows (e.g., payments, transactions, reporting)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA Automation
