Your role is to:

-> Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test frameworks covering UI, API, and end-to-end testing; 

-> Lead a small team of QA engineers, providing hands-on guidance, code reviews, and day-to-day direction; 

-> Take responsibility for test coverage across assigned product areas, ensuring regressions are caught before they reach production;

-> Build and maintain performance test scripts that are reusable, version controlled, and easy to update as the product changes; 

-> Integrate and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines, owning the feedback loop for your team;

-> Define and enforce testing standards, processes, and documentation within the squad;

-> Collaborate with developers and product managers to review requirements and translate them into thorough test plans;

-> Own defect triage and test failure analysis, coordinating directly with engineers to drive resolution;

-> Continuously improving test reliability, speed, and coverage, proactively flagging risks to engineering leads;

 

Your skills and experiences:

-> 6+ years of QA automation experience, with demonstrated ownership of a test automation codebase;

-> Solid hands-on experience with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium; 

-> Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts;

-> Proven experience owning CI/CD-integrated test pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar);

-> Solid API testing experience using tools such as Postman or Supertest;
