As a Horizontal Directional Driller, you will be responsible for running Vermeer horizontal directional drill rigs and equipment supporting a major telecommunications infrastructure project. You will also be working directly with the Horizontal Directional Locator for guidance during drilling operations. Your role will help grow Charter's expanding network and connect new customers to our communications products and services.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Horizontal drilling experience of at least two years. Practical working experience with underground construction for both conduit and fiber installation.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Abilities: Able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Schedule: Hours will be determined as business needs dictate
  • Travel Ability: Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record; you'll travel 80% of the time to complete projects at different sites


Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA safety certifications, operator certifications, Class A or B CDL, valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Horizontal drilling experience of five years or more
  • Practical working experience with underground construction and equipment for both conduit and fiber installation
