Description

Part-time Psychiatry Medical Director positions are available for psychiatric detox/residential programs with expansion to PHP, as well as for outpatient PHP/IOP sites and weekend inpatient rounding. Responsibilities include on-site availability (typically 1–2 times per month) or weekend inpatient rounds (2–4 days/month), along with signing off on records and providing supervision to midlevel clinicians and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Be available to support the treatment team
• Sign off on clinical records/documentation
• Provide clinical supervision (including oversight of midlevel providers)
• Conduct on-site visits and/or inpatient rounds as scheduled

Benefits

• Monthly stipend: $5,000/month for the Pittsburgh and Massachusetts options (average ~20 hours/month)
• Weekend pay: up to $1,500 per day for Palm Beach inpatient rounding

Requirements

• MD or DO with Psychiatry specialization
• Ability to support treatment teams and provide clinical supervision
• Ability to sign off on records/documentation
• Availability for scheduled on-site visits or weekend rounding as specified
