Description

This is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role in an urgent care/outpatient clinic focused on treating common pediatric illnesses and minor injuries. You will evaluate patients and perform routine urgent-care procedures such as injections, wound care, and fracture splinting, along with lab testing and X-rays as needed. Schedule varies with weekend coverage every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions (e.g., asthma, allergic reactions, cold/flu, fever, rashes, ear infections, strep/sore throat, UTIs, vomiting/diarrhea)

• Provide fracture care and splinting

• Perform wound care and laceration repair (stitches, staples, skin glue)

• Administer antibiotic injections and breathing treatments

• Provide IV fluids

• Coordinate and perform lab testing and X-rays

• Complete sports and camp physicals

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience

• Local candidates highly desired (regional candidates preferred)

• Ability to work urgent care hours (10–8 daily; schedule varies)

• Work every other weekend
