Description

You will join a team developing a modern data platform on Google Cloud Platform. The project includes integrating data from multiple GCP sources, building scalable pipelines, and preparing data for analytics and business use. Work is cloud-native, with an emphasis on CI/CD, orchestration, and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines on GCP using Python and SQL

• Integrate data sources including BigQuery and Cloud Storage

• Design and implement data transformations

• Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer

• Design data models and pipeline architecture

• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Delivery Leads, and Business Analysts

• Build solutions ensuring high data and code quality: auditability, rerun capability, modularity, reusability, and unit tests

• Participate in CI/CD processes and deployment automation

• Develop data lake, data warehouse, and dimensional models (Star Schema / Snowflake)

• Ensure quality, testability, and observability of data processes

Requirements

• Very good experience with Google Cloud Platform

• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL

• Practical experience with BigQuery and Cloud Storage

• Experience with Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer

• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines

• Very good knowledge of data modeling, including data lake, DWH, Star Schema, and Snowflake

• Experience with CI/CD and pipeline orchestration

• Ability to design scalable solutions that are easy to maintain

• Knowledge of data quality, testing, and observability practices
