Description

Join a multi-disciplined engineering team developing, testing, and installing hardware sensors and components for electronic toll collection systems. You will design, develop, and test hardware components, build prototypes, and integrate wired and wireless networking into hardware solutions. You will also support installation, validation, and early manufacturing builds while collaborating with systems, software, and mechanical engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test hardware components, boards, and embedded systems

• Build functional prototypes using rapid-development tools, test equipment, and iterative hardware design methods

• Integrate wired and wireless networking into hardware solutions

• Configure, test, and troubleshoot network interfaces, protocols, and communication layers

• Collaborate with systems, software, and mechanical engineering teams to define requirements and ensure cohesive system performance

• Support product installation, validation, and early manufacturing builds

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions for future designs

Requirements

• 0–2 years experience

• Understanding of digital and analog hardware design principles

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP/TCP/UDP, routing, switching, and wireless communication)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
