• Role: Locum Tenens Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

• Coverage: 1 week per month (scheduled week is variable; 7 days inpatient)

• Schedule: Tuesday 7:00 AM–Tuesday 7:00 AM; scheduled clinical hours 7:00 AM–7:00 PM with night call (overtime applies after 12 hours worked per day)

• Call: Weeknight beeper call (20-minute response time) for assigned and unassigned patients; night call is for phone consults only (no callback)

• Patient load: 11–15 patients per shift

• Case mix: Inpatient and outpatient (stroke certified)

• Start: January 4, 2027 (ongoing)

Description

Provide advanced heart failure cardiology nurse practitioner duties during scheduled clinic hours plus call coverage. You will support inpatient and outpatient patients, including a stroke-certified case mix; no admissions are required. No supervision of other APPs or residents/teaching is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced heart failure cardiology NP care

• Manage inpatient and outpatient patients (stroke-certified)

• Respond to weeknight beeper call within 20 minutes

• Provide phone consults during night call (no callback)

Requirements

• NP credential

• Board certified or board eligible

• Heart failure experience or experience as a CICU nurse

• ACLS

• BLS

• DEA controlled substance registration certificate

• Active Washington state license or IMLC membership
