Description

Ophthalmology locum tenens provider needed for ongoing outpatient coverage with no call and clinic hours Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM. This busy practice averages ~20 patients per day and requires cataract surgery and intravitreal injections, with expected productivity of at least 4 clinic patients per hour and 12–14 procedures/surgeries per day. The preferred schedule is a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off rotation, with surgeries/procedures in week one and follow-ups in week two.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient ophthalmology care and follow-up visits

• Perform cataract surgeries and intravitreal injections

• Deliver high-volume clinical throughput during clinic hours

Requirements

• Board Certified ophthalmologist

• Ability to perform cataract surgery

• Ability to perform intravitreal injections

• License in Michigan or IMLC accepted

• Meet productivity targets (≥4 clinic patients/hour; 12–14 procedures/surgeries/day)
