Description

Provide long-term outpatient dermatology coverage with a consistent weekly schedule in a general dermatology practice. You will evaluate and manage patients ranging from pediatrics through geriatrics, with cryosurgery making up a significant portion of the practice. Support is provided by an owner and a Medical Assistant for documentation and clinical tasks, using paper-based charting.

Responsibilities

• General dermatology evaluations and management

• Perform dermatologic procedures including cryosurgery, skin biopsies, excisions, and ED&C

• Provide general dermatologic procedural care (cryosurgery is a major component)

Requirements

• Active Florida medical license

• BLS certification

• Board certification preferred, but not required

• Dermatology experience preferred; new graduates may be considered

• Eligible for Medicare enrollment with no background issues preventing enrollment

• Local candidates only; must be able to commute to the practice

• DEA not required

• Credentialing: approximately 30–45 days (existing payer enrollment may streamline the process)
