Description

You will develop, configure, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter or Guidewire BillingCenter solutions for clients in the insurance sector. The role includes participation in enterprise implementation and development projects, technical coordination and monitoring of work, and mentoring team members. You will also build integrations using SOAP, REST, XML, and JVM-based technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in deployment and development projects for Guidewire PolicyCenter or BillingCenter
• Design, develop, and configure Guidewire solutions
• Act as Technical Lead in selected project areas
• Collaborate with client-side coordinators and teams
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities
• Support and mentor team members
• Create and evolve SOAP/REST/XML-based integrations
• Ensure code quality and apply good engineering practices
• Analyze requirements, design, and maintain business solutions
• Work with business and technical stakeholders in an international environment
• Support organizational and development initiatives
• Be available for occasional business travel if required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Guidewire software development experience
• Experience with configuration and development in Guidewire PolicyCenter
• Very good knowledge of Java and JVM-based technologies
• Knowledge of Java 8, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, or Hibernate
• Practical experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter
• Practical experience designing and developing system integrations
• Knowledge of Clean Code principles and design patterns
• Corporate experience in a similar role
• Ability to coordinate technical tasks and support the project team
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment
