Description

The DevOps Engineer will manage incidents and problems to keep production environments stable and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities include owning RCA for production incidents, monitoring service health, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and strengthening observability. The role also involves documenting operational procedures and partnering with development and platform teams to improve feedback loops and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the RCA process for production incidents: diagnose, resolve, and prevent recurrence
• Monitor service health and deliver production support
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure stability of pre-production and production environments
• Document operational procedures and known issues
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to improve operational feedback loops
• Identify pain points and propose automation strategies
• Improve observability with dashboards and alerts
• Participate in service continuity and disaster recovery drills

Requirements

• 5+ years in IT operations or production-facing roles
• Proven incident ownership from alert to RCA to prevention
• 2+ years working within an ITIL framework
• Experience in Agile environments
• Experience with Python
• Experience with SQL
• Excellent English communication (C1)
• Proficiency with Jenkins and CI/CD methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent investigation skills
• Experience with log analysis tools such as Splunk and Sysdig
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Comfortable operating Kubernetes services
• Excellent skills with Ansible and Docker
