Description

Automate production deployments and support a Kubernetes-to-cloud migration in a banking environment. You will deploy and run applications in production, build CI/CD pipelines, and improve reliability and deployment efficiency while onboarding applications to an on-premises Kubernetes platform and later transitioning to cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and run applications in production environments

• Provide feedback on production instabilities, incidents, and improvement opportunities

• Provision, configure, and maintain development, test, and production environments

• Automate build, release, deployment, and production operations

• Support onboarding and migration of applications to on-premises Kubernetes, then to cloud-based infrastructure

• Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reliability

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripts for automation of operational workflows

• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across development, test, and production

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve performance, availability, and scalability

• Manage source code, configuration files, and automation scripts with Git

• Support incident analysis, root cause investigations, and preventive measures

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Ansible, and Kubernetes

• Python and Shell scripting

• Git

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines

• Experience deploying and running applications in production

• Experience provisioning and maintaining development, test, and production environments

• Experience automating build, release, and production operations

• Ability to provide feedback on production instabilities and incidents

• Good level of English

Nice to have

• Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence)

• Database experience (Snowflake, Postgres, etc.)

• Experience onboarding applications to an on-premises Kubernetes platform and later to the cloud
