Description

You will support secure, automated, and resilient on-premises infrastructure by helping integrate and optimize HashiCorp Vault solutions. The role focuses on advising new Vault consumers, defining onboarding best practices for Secrets Engines and authentication, improving service health and resilience, and providing SME guidance on solution design.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation to new consumers integrating with an on-prem HashiCorp Vault environment

• Advise on onboarding strategies, including best practices for Secrets Engines and Authentication methods

• Develop comprehensive documentation and self-help materials to enable independent onboarding

• Drive continuous improvement to enhance service health and resilience

• Lead strategic programs and provide SME insights in solution design

• Build relationships with business stakeholders and technical teams

• Manage ad-hoc out-of-hours work aligned with change management protocols

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working in a HashiCorp Vault environment (preferably on-premises)

• 3+ years of experience using HashiCorp Terraform and developing automation solutions

• Strong expertise in Vault integration, including Secrets Engines and Authentication methods

• Proven troubleshooting skills for Vault integration challenges and service inefficiencies

• Experience designing monitoring and alerting solutions at an enterprise level (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, SCOM)

• Familiarity with large-scale technologies used in a global IT enterprise

• Experience working within Agile teams; manage work in Jira and Jira Service Desk

• Excellent command of English

• Existing legal right to work in the European Union
