Description

You will design, develop, and deploy demand-forecasting models for everyday essentials across the full product lifecycle—from launch through discontinuation. The role emphasizes turning ML models into production-ready, config-driven pipelines while balancing technical excellence with business relevance. You’ll collaborate end-to-end from prototype to production and help build a scalable internal forecasting library.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy demand-forecasting models across the full product lifecycle

• Advance forecasting engines using time-series clustering and statistical/ML modeling

• Lead feature engineering, model evaluation, and forecast-accuracy monitoring at scale

• Build and maintain robust, config-driven data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions from prototype to production

• Contribute to an internal forecasting library and advocate clean architecture, modular design, and maintainability

• Lead cross-functional teams and support management with data-driven decision-making

Requirements

• Solid background in time-series forecasting, supervised learning, and ML/statistical algorithms (scikit-learn, statsmodels)

• Strong Python programming skills with pandas, NumPy, and SciPy

• Experience converting models into production-ready, modular pipelines with clean architecture and config-driven design (e.g., Pydantic)

• Proficiency with Git

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or related role (Data Engineer, Software Engineer, AI Engineer, ML Ops)

• Excellent collaboration skills in cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and priority-setting

• English proficiency and a Bachelor’s degree
