Description

You will design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions aligned with architecture and coding standards. The role includes building CDS-based reporting, optimizing CDS data models, implementing HANA push-down logic via AMDP and SQLScript, and configuring CVPM processes in SAP FPSL. You will also provide unit testing, production support, incident troubleshooting, technical documentation, and assist with system releases and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP solutions

• Create and optimize reporting using CDS Views

• Develop and execute unit tests and support business testing

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and production issues

• Provide technical support, monitoring, and maintenance

• Prepare technical documentation and support releases/upgrades (SPDD, SPAU, SAP Notes)

• Configure and maintain CVPM processes in SAP FPSL

• Implement and monitor data flow between SDL and RDL

• Build high-performance solutions using AMDP and HANA SQLScript (code push-down)

• Perform performance tuning and root cause analysis

• Design and monitor process chains and background jobs (SM37)

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer (modern ABAP)

• Strong OO ABAP expertise

• Experience with SAP HANA, SQLScript, AMDP, and CDS Views

• Knowledge of performance optimization and database push-down techniques

• Understanding of financial processes and subledger accounting

• Knowledge of IFRS 9 / IFRS 17 and banking or insurance domain

• Experience with SAP FI (tables, structures, programming)

• Experience in incident management and production support

• Degree in Computer Science/IT or related field

• English B2+
