Description

You will help design the next generation baseband system across Apple products, working on architecture and development for power, digital, and clock management. The role includes driving schematics and layout for both development and form-factor hardware, supporting hardware bring-up, and debugging hardware/software coexistence issues. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including SoC, battery, sensors, and iOS, and may require some international travel.

Responsibilities

• Architectural stage: partner with architects and IC designers on next-gen chipset Power/Digital/Clock management
• Development: drive schematics/layout/bring-up for development and form-factor hardware
• Debug: investigate hardware/software/coexistence issues observed at product scale and volume
• Prototype support: work with contract manufacturing for factory prototype support
• Collaboration: work proactively with cross-functional engineering groups and maintain a grasp of the broader product landscape beyond wireless design

Requirements

• BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
• Experience with schematic capture, layout design, and review
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
