Description

Join a remote engineering team building and modernizing enterprise web applications. You will develop responsive, scalable Single Page Applications (SPAs) in React and TypeScript, integrating with enterprise REST APIs, GraphQL services, and cloud-native microservices. The role focuses on hands-on UI development, secure authentication, real-time features, testing, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade React/TypeScript SPAs
• Build reusable UI components aligned with enterprise design system standards
• Deliver responsive web experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
• Convert Figma or Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces
• Implement client-side state management using Redux Toolkit, React Query, Zustand, or Context API
• Optimize performance using lazy loading, code splitting, memoization, virtualization, and efficient rendering
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2/OpenID Connect and enterprise identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Auth0)
• Add real-time features using WebSockets, SignalR, or Server-Sent Events (SSE)
• Create reusable custom hooks, utility libraries, and shared component packages
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot production issues, browser compatibility challenges, and front-end performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional front-end software development
• 4+ years of hands-on React development building enterprise applications
• Strong proficiency in React 18+, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of React Hooks, functional components, Context API, Suspense, and error boundaries
• Experience with state management (Redux Toolkit/Redux, Zustand, React Query/TanStack Query, or Context API)
• Strong HTML5/CSS3 skills and experience with SCSS/Tailwind CSS/Styled Components/CSS Modules
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Experience implementing authentication/authorization using JWT, OAuth2, Azure AD, Okta, Auth0, or OpenID Connect
• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), semantic HTML, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn)
• Experience with Git and Git hosting platforms (GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Bitbucket)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Strong debugging and performance optimization using Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse
• Experience consuming backend services built with .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python
• Experience working in Agile Scrum development environments
